This coming Wednesday April 08 we will be having our Leadership Meeting at the Orchard Hotel where the Leaders talk about Leadership stuff. I for one will be there. But before I do I would like attempt an experiment.
I want to see if a discussion over a valid issue can get properly vetted and that everyone can commented on, and can be collected and recorded in an efficient manner, while avoiding spamming everyone and not having an efficient way of collecting that data.
Some immediate goals I hope to achieve are: 1. avoid endless spam email, 2. create capureable data, 3. everyone gets heard, 4. streamline communication and 5. manage the ever growing membership.
My only task here today is to get a reading/poll from every member regarding the food at the Orchard Hotel. I personally have heard from both members and management (yes, hotel management) that the food has slipped in quality over the last few months.
I for one have not notice this happening however I have noticed some who have barely touched their plates. In the spirit of maintaining our brand, improving user experience and just being web 2.0 I ask every member to leave a reply to this post tell me/us
Do you enjoy your meal?
If not what and or why?
Do we all want to go vegetarian?
I have noticed the decline in quality since late 2008.
Entrees cooked to dryness, veggies soggy, general lack of variety.
Part 2, the desserts went from incredible and creative to throwing some brownies on a plate.
In November 2008, those same brownies would have had their own plate, been drizzled with chocolate sauce, and garnished with a sliced berry.
For $15, that might be fine, but for $25, San Franciscans tend to expect a bit more.
Thanks Ian! I have to agree on deserts. last weeks deserts were custard tarts that hadn’t set up yet.
